BadgerState10k

What: Badger State 10k 

Enjoy running through the neighborhoods near Lambeau Field and post-race Badger State Brewing Co. Beer! This event is one of our two “Bookend” 10ks for the year. Its counterpart, the Houdini 10k, is set to go off in Appleton in November.

When: March 31, 2018 at 9:00am

Where: Race Starts and Finishes at Badger State Brewing, Green Bay, WI

Participants will receive: 

  • Technical shirt

The first 500 participants to register will receive a Badger State 10k 16oz Tall Boy Coolie!

Age Groups:

  • Awards to the top overall male and female, and top 3 male and females in each of the following age groups: 12 and below, 13 – 18, 19 – 24, 25 – 29, 30 – 34, 35 – 39, 40 – 44, 45 – 49, 50 – 54, 55 – 59, 60 – 69, 70 – 79, and 80+

Awards will be given to the Top 3 male and female participants in each age group. There will be no formal awards ceremony. To claim your award, please come to the Run Away Shoes tent near the beer tent.

Transfer Information

Can I transfer my registration to a different participant? 

Yes, you can transfer your registration.

Transfers can be completed by visiting the registration page and choosing the Transfer Registration button. The Transfer Registration page is to be completed by the person who the registration is being transferred to

Transfers and T-Shirts

If a registration is transferred AFTER online registration closes, t-shirt size cannot be changed. The person who the registration is transferred to will receive the t-shirt of the person they are transferring from. At packet pick-up, they may take that shirt over to the Additional Assistance table if they would like to swap it with another size. The desired size is not guaranteed.

ID Check will be available at Packet Pick-Up to speed up the beer lines at the finish line! We strongly suggest having your ID checked and receiving a wrist band at packet pick-up, though there will still be an ID check available post-race.

Official Rules:
This contest is open to participants of the 2018 Badger State 10k who are 18 years of age or older.  The contest will run from March 31st from 9:00 am CST until Tuesday, April 3rd at 12:00 am CST. If an entry is inappropriate or unsuitable by the discretion of Run Away Events, the entry will be disqualified.  Entries must be the original image from the entrant. Winner will be notified on Wednesday, April 4th. The prize of a race registration for the 2019 Badger State 10k will be in the form of a comp code for a one time use when registering for the 2019 Badger State 10k. In the case that the 2019 Badger State 10k is canceled for any reason, the contest winner will be notified and may choose another Run Away Event to participate in from the selection provided by Run Away Events.

Q.) When is the Badger State 10k?

A.) March 31, 2018

Q.) Can I walk the Badger State 10k?

A.) Yes, however, due to traffic concerns there is a time limit of 2 hours.

Q.) Are strollers or dogs allowed on the course?

A.) Dogs are unfortunately not permitted on the event route. The Badger State 10k is a family affair and strollers are more than welcome!

Q.) Will there be water along the course?

A.) Yes! There will be two water stations along the course:

Water station #1: around Mile 2, on Hickory Hill Dr. between Onieda St. & Colonial Ave.

Water station #2: around Mile 4.5 on St. Agnes and South Ridge Rd

Q.) Will there be a porta potty along the course?

A.) Yes! There will be two units when exiting Colburn Park at about mile 3.

Q.) I pre-registered but now I will not be able to do the race. Can I get a refund?

A.) We’re sad you won’t be able to join us! Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund.

Q.) Can I transfer my registration?

Q.) Where and when are the results from the event posted?

A.) The results from the Badger State 10k will be posted above the FAQs on this page in the Results section as soon as they are made available by our timing services.

Q.) Where can I find pictures after the event is over?

A.) Our photographer will upload pictures to the Badger State 10k Facebook Page within a few days after the completion of the event!  Please note, photos for the  event will represent the essence of the event. It is not guaranteed there will be a photo of every participant.
