Join Run Away Shoes, Cocoon Brewing, and Asics for a fun, casual group run followed by great beer, good company, and laid-back vibes. Whether you’re training for your next race or just looking for a fun way to move, all paces are welcome. Asics will have demo shoes of their Novablast 6 and Kayano 33 for attendees to try out if interested. We’ll head out for a relaxed route before hanging out at the brewery afterward. The Capital Credit Union Houdini 10k recognizes Appleton's iconic resident Harry Houdini and ushers in the beauty of a Wisconsin fall with a scenic course including the Newberry Trail and Appleton Locks. Participants will start at Houdini Plaza and finish in Jones Park to enjoy post-race food & beverage including Copper State Brewing Co. beer to those 21 & older. Additionally, there will be Magicians strolling throughout the morning performing for you to enjoy before and after your run. This event is part of the 4imprint Race Series. The Community First Credit Union Santa Scamper is a one-mile run/walk event preceding the Annual Downtown Appleton Christmas parade. This race will start at the corner of College Ave & State Street and finish at Jones Park. Participants will receive a commemorative beanie, finish line Appleton Dairy Queen Dilly Bar and coupon for a free regular burger from JDs Drive-In. This event supports St. Joseph Food Program and is part of the 4imprint Race Series.
