Getting Back on Track

Sooo…  I had a bad week or two.  Is it normal for anyone else to work out 5 days in a row and then miss 13?!?  I swear I have a good reason.  Food poisoning for the first four days, then too much work, three day vacation in the Dells and even more work. As most of you know, March is the busiest time of the year and I also added another new event – the Badger State 10K – makes  it is event more nuts. Now, I may sound like I am complaining (my wife would say so) but I am a very lucky person to be able to add my passion into to work. I started back with a 4 mile run, TRX and then yesterday a Fartlek.  I am definitely in better shape than I thought but also I realize I just need to get out the DOOR!  I felt so good after my run that when my wife called me she asked if I was drinking!  With the weather we had yesterday I thought that was a great idea, but I know the real reason is exercise and getting outside on the 60 degree day. Sooo… I just need to get out, maintain and push the workouts a little more.
